Post low-grade tech
Not super mechanical, but will help keep me warm while the ancient solid doors are being rebuilt.

I used $17 worth of marine-grade vinyl & lots o' zip ties over the bars.

If you want to use the same technique on the top half, weld up some sort of upper frame and zip tie vinyl to it, I can sew the vinyl to large plastic window panels just the right size. I'm thinking so maybe 1" of vinyl to the frame, just enough to do the tie work. I'd be sewing a 3" or so piece of vinyl all around the plastic.

The trail commute (LI - Rausch Creek - LI) stretched the vinyl a little. More zip ties might help, 3" spacing instead of 6-8".

They did great on the trail; kept some heat in and mud & rain out pretty well.

Without the doors driving in the rain is almost like riding a motorcycle. This is much better
