I saw similar on a Rubi. Beefy LCAs with flexy links, stock UCAs. Stock, all 4 arms fight flex equally. After the mod, the UCAs were doing twice as much (ie 50% each), since the LCAs just swiveled freely. One of the UCAs ripped in half on the highway. Luckily it made some funky noises and got attention before the other one gave up. Moral of the story? Even distribution of stress is needed. In the above case, you may need to beef all 8 mounting points, not just the axle end of the upper(s). What do you plan to do? Could be an interesting addition to our tech forum
