Post Re: Tow Strap Configuratiion
2 front straight but angled out and 2 rear crossed and tied to the axles for me.

if your rig is floppy, put another couple to the frame of the rig to keep it still. I dont like tying to the rig only because one big bump can possibly unhook your strap (depending on the strap)

trial and error will reveal the best method for you. you'll end up playing around with the positioning of the rig on the trailer to get your tongue weight right anyway, then youll see where you can tie to.

Post Re: Tow Strap Configuratiion
Hey guys, yes, I'm back! lol Haven't towed much, but have heard MANY time to cross the straps, ALSO to use chains on the rear. Had a friend that flipped a trailer with his ramcharger on it, broke all 4 straps, but the backup chain over both axles kept them together. (totaled everything, but no others vehicles caught up in it) Also another reason for trailer brakes,,,
ALSO! Last trip to Rausch, I had no shocks on the Zuk, broke 4 cheap ratchet straps for the body on the way down, and 3 more on the way back. These were from the body to the axles to hold the body down. Zuk weighs maybe 1500 lbs above the axles, but I FELT it when those straps popped!!
