Re: Red top ,Yellow top Optima or other Battery Started with a red top, had to bring it back and get a new one 3 times, I complained and they upgraded me to a yellow, no problems since.

Re: Red top ,Yellow top Optima or other Battery I run a blue top and a deep cycle marine battery with a solid state isolator. the Jeep is on the Blue top, while the winch and lights are on the marine battery.
