A great day for wheeling the day of the food drive. I don't have any official numbers but I'd say there were about 20-25 rigs from all different clubs.. One member form E4W, me, Wayne. They broke everyone up into 3-4 groups and ran sevral trails. I ran OFR with the Hudson Valley guys; we had eight rigs in all. Sunny blue skys in the upper 60's. Maybe we could get a few more days like that. The event hosts claimed they did very well.

It was a good day of wheeling. We had 3 of us from JT4x4 up there and hit OFR in the second group, which also had 8 people in it. It was after dark before we came out though. We had a couple stops for breakage so we were back there quite a while.

Which obstacle? The first? We had one rounded front corner on that rock face but no roll-overs. KC's throttle stuck wide open as he got to the top and was pointed at the rock face. The rock won. I think you guys were there watching when that happened. We were wondering what happened to you as we were eating lunch; we thought you might catch up.

We watched the last 3-4 rigs in your group on the first obstacle and watched the red YJ faceplant. We had a few rigs that were open/open that required winching and then we had a front axleshaft break, two tires come off the bead and a front shackle invert on a YJ. Nothing like a rollover, but there were enough of these little breakages to slow us down.

I know. I think Wayne and I were just comparing notes on how to two groups did on OFR for the day. I don't have a rig capable of pointing at The Hill, that alone actually trying to conquer it.
