He racked the body bad enough to disconnect the steering shaft from the box. Loosened up all the body mounts, pulled the body rearward first, aligned the shaft to box and then pull the cab back forward. Yes, we were there awhile, but were successful. :thumbs:

I had to do a bit of body alignment by myself when issues were discovered a few weeks after a body off motor swap. After loosening the bolts, I used a hi-lift between the frame and heavy rockers. If course I had the luxury of being in my garage. Non-off-road folks never understand the tenacity/ingenuity of off-roaders. The photo above was indeed a cool trail fix.
